The Korns book notes that Michael Korns was last assessed in
Berks County in in 1786, but couldn't locate him again until he showed up in
the Bedford County (now Somerset County) records in 1795. A new record
indicates that he was living in Maryland west of Fort Cumberland in 1787/88;
