This circa 1936 picture was taken below the main farmhouse on Allen Korns, Southampton Township, Somerset County PA farm, looking generally south. The girl on the sled is Allen Korns' daughter Estalene. The boy on the right is Allen Korns' son Melvin. I'm not sure who the boy in the middle is. When they were older, they made what I believe they called "jolly jumpers" by putting a seat on a barrel stave for snow sliding.
