The map excerpt below is from an 1822 map of the state of Maryland. It only shows the portion of the Turkey Foot Road between Cumberland, Maryland and Salisbury, Pennsylvania. For some reason, it does not show the portion between Salisbury and Turkey Foot that appeared on the manuscript 1818 Melish-Whiteside map of Somerset County, Pennsylvania and on the 1829 Young & Finley map.
