The photo and description below were provided by Mike McKenzie. The photo is one of a number that were rescued from some Cumberland, Maryland area trash a number of years ago by one of Mike's friends.
This photo show Baltimore Street in Cumberland, looking towards Washington Street and the Emmanuel Episcopal church. The church was built on the site of the old Fort Cumberland, and there are tunnels under this church that are believed to be original to the fort.
