The room is identifiable by the corner cupboard in the background, and the proximity of the cupboard to a pipe that is visible on the right-hand side of the cupboard. From left to right, the people seated at the table are Allen Korns, Dolores (Shaffer) Korns, Estalene (Korns) Dietle, Roy Dietle, and Luther "Bud" Dietle.

The next picture shows Roy and Estalene (Korns) Dietle with their son Lannie, who was born in 1953. Lannie recognizes the piano as being the one in the living room of Allen and Gladys (Bittner) Korns. The clues are the portrait of Estalene and the piece of glassware sitting on top of the piano. Luther Korns found that piece of glassware while working on a pipeline, and gave it to his mother Gladys.
