The following picture provides a peek inside the dairy barn on the farm of Allen Lester Korns in Southampton Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. The picture was taken near the door on the east end of the barn. Dairy cows can be seen in their stalls, at the left. The child (Dana Dietle, grandaughter of Allen & Gladys Korns) is standing in the sileage cart that was used to bring sileage the cows. Dana was born in July of 1959, so this picture was probably taken circa 1961.
