The following two vintage photos, which were provided by Mike McKenzie, are from a number of railroad-related photos that were rescued from some Cumberland, Maryland area trash years ago by one of Mike's friends.
The photos appear to document the same Western Maryland Railway derailment. Does anyone know what the unusual car with the convex roof is> Does that car have a tall projection on the top, or am I misinterpreting the photo?
