The following nearly identical vintage photos, which were provided by Mike McKenzie, are from a group of railroad-related photos rescued from some Cumberland, Maryland area trash a number of years ago by one of Mike's friends.
The photos show a railroad car-mounted crane being used to clear a train derailment in mountainous terrain.
