The photo below was provided by Mike McKenzie. It is one of a number of photos that were rescued from some Cumberland, Maryland area trash a number of years ago by one of Mike's friends.
Patrick Stakem informs us that this photo shows the Baltimore & Ohio "Big Hook" crane, which is now (2009) at the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad museum in Baltimore, Maryland. Mike McKenzie reports that the Big Hook boom crane is sitting on the turntable at the Cumberland roundhouse in this photo. He reports that this is the same turntable that is in use today (2009) and owned by CSX.
