The photo below was provided by Mike McKenzie. The photo is one of a number that were rescued from some Cumberland, Maryland area trash a number of years ago by one of Mike's friends.
Mike McKenzie and Patrick Stakem report that this photo hat this photo was taken looking west, and shows construction on the flood control project in the Narrows. Mike identifies the Esso Station and Nash dealership as being at the location of the present day (2009) Klines Restaurant.
