The photo and description below were provided by Mike McKenzie. The photo is one of a number that were rescued from some Cumberland, Maryland area trash a number of years ago by one of Mike's friends.
This photo shows an elevated view of Cumberland that includes a rail yard and a factory. Mike suspected that the factory was an old glass company that was situated along Wills Creek. He thought that this factory seemed to fit the Wills Creek & Market St. location of the 1904-1929 Potomac Glass Company. Mike then corresponded with the individual who had the Cumberland Glass website, who confirmed that this photo indeed showed the Potomac Glass Company.
