The photo and description below were provided by Mike McKenzie. The photo is one of a number that were rescued from some Cumberland, Maryland area trash a number of years ago by one of Mike's friends.
This photo shows an aerial view entering Cumberland, Mayland from the Narrows on old Route 40 (The National Highway). The bypass, bridge which is still (2009) in use is on Henderson Avenue. The smoke stack was the Queen City Brewing Company, and their beer brand was "Old German".
