In October, 2015, Estalene (Korns) Dietle was reading in an old Bible she has. Tucked inside the Bible were these pages from an 1875 Lutheran "Book of Worship" that her grandmother Mary Elizabeth (Geiger) Korns owned, and signed in pencil as "Mary E. Korns" in 1888. According to the tombstone she shares with her husband, Mary was born on August 4, 1867, so she would have been 20 years old when she signed the book on February 13, 1888. She also signed the book in ink as "Mary E. Geiger", but I can't make out the associated date.
