Lepley Percussion Rifle Hammers (Somerset County, Pennsylvania)

Three caplock hammers that were in a bucket gun hardware that was found on a Lepley farm in Southampton Township, Somerset County Pennsylvania.

These are three caplock hammers that were in the bucket with the other old Lepley gun parts in Southampton Township, Somerset County PA; note that not all have been fitted to a lock. The gunshop was located about 1.7 miles west of the Bedford County line, so I guess it's not surprising that the middle hammer resembles the style of a Bedford County hammer.
