"Catherine Korns Heiman, sister of Michael Korns, Sr., was born in Berks County, Pa., Aug. 24, 1759, died in Southampton Twp., Somerset County, Pa., Nov. 29, 1825. This 1922 synopsis states "Now then from whence came the Hoymans? The pioneers and among the early settlers of Southampton Township, Somerset Co., Pennsylvania, where Christian and his brother Phillip......Christian, of German descent, born in 1759......The wife of the pioneer, Christian Hoyman was Catherine Korns, was also born in 1759......".
We don't know for sure if this 1922 statement is based on family tradition, or someone's research. It seems unlikely to have been influenced by Dr. Korns' research, because Dr. Korns records in his Korns Genealogy book that he didn't start collecting materials for the book until 1932.
As far as I can determine, David Baldwin's book is the most comprehensive information available on the descendants of Christian Hoyman and Catherine (Korn) Hoyman.

The following Korn family genealogy information is excerpted from the uncopyrighted book The Genealogy of Michael Korns, Sr. of Somerset County Pennsylvania by Charles Byron Korns, Sr. , M.D. (Berlin Publishing Company, Berlin, Pennsylvania, 1949):
I don't recall seeing any proof recited in Dr. Korns' book that Christian Hoyman married Catherine Korn. A statement was recorded in 1922 in a synopsis of a Hoyman-Kennell Reunion that is presented on pages 2 and 3 of David Baldwin's 486 page Hoyman book "Some Notes, Quotes and Quips of the Hoyman Clan and Related Lines" (Gateway Press, Inc. Baltimore MD, 1993.).
