The following 2008 photo shows how the former Lepley farm appears from the nearby farm that once belonged to Daniel Korns, Jr. The Lepley stone house and gunsmithing shop were located below the barn, and on the opposite (near) side of the road — somewhere in or near the clump of trees. The house was demolished about nine years before the photo was taken.
Near the bottom of the photo, in front of the left-hand portion of the tree line, is generally where the Korns school was located.
The following 1950 photo was also taken from the former Daniel Korns farm, looking toward the former Lepley farm. Estalene Korns is driving the sleigh, and the barn and snow-covered fields of the old Lepley farm are visible in the background. The barn is visible above the horse's rump and just to the right of the tall left-hand post.
