The above scans were taken from the same large agriculture book, the "Report of the Commissioner of Patents for the year 1861", that was handed down to a descendant of John Wilson Korns who would have obtained it from the family home of Allen Korns of Southampton Township, Somerset County, PA. One page from the book has the name Daniel Korns, and the other has the name Joseph H. Korns.
