Due to the debilitating effects of Parkinson's Disease, I didn't feel well enough to attend the ceremony when I was inducted into the Lakeview High School "Alumni Hall of Fame" in 2022. When I recorded the video, I blamed the poor audio quality on my microphone. Now, I realize it was due to the hypokinetic dysarthria aspect of Parkinson's Disease — which I just didn't understand at the time. Be prepared to increase your volume as the video plays, to compensate for the volume of my voice!
