This 2008 photo shows the west-end, upstairs bedroom in the now-uninhabited 19th century Southampton Township, Somerset County family farmhouse that belonged to Daniel Korns, Jr., then to John Wilson Korns, then to Allen Korns.
The electric wiring is installed over top of the plaster. According to my mother (Allen Korns' daughter) the house was electrified circa 1939/40, so this tells us that the ceiling plaster dates to before circa 1939/40.
