The following pictures show the children of Roy and Estalene (Korns) Dietle, when they were living on their Mercer County property that was eventually taken for the right-of-way of Interstate 79. The first picture shows their six-year-old son Lannie holding their 11-day-old daughter Dana under the shade of a large tree in their back yard, when they were still living in a mobile home. The garden can be seen in the background.
The next photo of Lannie and Dana was taken after the family moved into temporary quarters in the basement that was located on the property. This photo was taken in the "living room" portion of the basement.
