The following vintage photo, which was provided by Mike McKenzie, is one of a number of railroad-related photos that were rescued from some Cumberland, Maryland area trash years ago by one of Mike's friends.
Patrick Stakem reports that this photo was taken looking generally south from the Western Maryland Station in Cumberland, Maryland, with Will's Creek on the right. The photo was apparently taken to document railroad-related construction activity; see the bulldozer and fresh dirt near the center of the photo. One of the bridges bears the words, "Western Maryland Railway."
