The following vintage photo, which was provided by Mike McKenzie, is one of a number of railroad-related photos that were rescued from some Cumberland, Maryland area trash years ago by one of Mike's friends.
The photo, which was taken at at Queen City Station in Cumberland, Maryland, shows diesel and steam engines arrayed in tandem. Mike reports that the front engine is a Fairbanks Morse switcher locomotive. The steam engine appears to be "in steam" to my uninformed eyes.
