The photo below, which was provided by Mike McKenzie, is one of a number of railroad-related photos that were rescued from some Cumberland, Maryland area trash years ago by one of Mike's friends.
Mike believes that this derailment was in the Narrows, because the bridge in the background appears to be the Western Maryland Railroad bridge across old Route 40 (at the eastern end of the Narrows). I agree.
