The photo and description below were provided by Mike McKenzie. The photo is one of a number that were rescued from some Cumberland, Maryland area trash a number of years ago by one of Mike's friends.
This photo provides a view looking down from the southeast side of the Narrows at a steam engine that is pulling two cars under what appears to be a foot bridge. Piedmont and Columbia Avenue can be seen on the hillside as dirt streets. Mike has read that the large house with the tower belonged to a railroad official.
