The following Wagaman School photo was provided by Aimee Benitez, who obtained it from the Berlin Area Historical Society with permission to share.
Back Row: Elizabeth Casey, Sara Marie Spaughy, Lewis Hartman, Freeman Brick, Harold Laughery, Bill Leister, and Adam Zambower. (I assume one of the last two named individuals was the person standing behind the back row — possibly the teacher.)
Middle Row: Bun Ludy, Wilfred Brick, Richard Wipple, Irving Smith, Wilfred Laughery, and Ray Ernst.
Front Row: Vic Ludy, Mary Ludy, Ken Laughery, George Casey, Mary Lou Beck, Louella Hartman, Betty (Poorbaugh) Snow, Junior Smith.
To me, the individual in the back row named Freeman Brick looks to be about ten years old. If he is the Freeman Brick who was born in 1919 and is buried in the Hyndman Cemetery, then I would guess this picture was taken circa 1929. Freeman Brick is listed in the 1928, 1930, and 1931 Wagaman School souvenirs that are posted on this website.
