The 110 thumbnail images below show that the 365-page book “In the Land of Used to Be” is profusely illustrated with photographs. The photographs fall into four catagories:

  • Frame grabs from 1950s and 1960s 8mm home movie film.
  • Box camera photographs from the 1950s to the early 1970s.
  • Halftone images from old picture postcards and other printed matter.
  • Recent digital photographs, primarily of relevant items from the 1950s and 1960s.

    You can have the book delivered right to your front door via Amazon.com. Alternately, you can pick your copy up at the Mercer County Historical Society. All sales proceeds benefit the historical society.
