This 1999 photograph shows the brick fireplace on the right-hand end of the old farmhouse on the Michael Korns, Sr. family homestead in Southampton Township, Somerset County, PA. This photograph was taken from the basement through the rotted-away first story floor. Note the chair rail, the large framed opening to the back room, and the corner bracing at the extreme left of the photograph.
