This circa 1911 post card image of the Korns Bakery in Des Moines, Iowa was sent in by my post card collecting sister Dana Moore. As far as I can tell, this bakery doesn't seem to be connected to our Somerset County, Pennsylvania Korns family. If you know of a connection, please send a message to me at the e-mail address shown below.

The following excerpt from the 1912 Des Moines City directory lists J. Bissig & Co. as the proprietors (i.e., owners) of the Korns Vienna Bakery at 415 Seventh Street. The excerpt also shows that the lawyer Francis R. Korns (a descendant of the Somerset County, Pennsylvania Korns family) was living at 1417 Sixth Avenue. The only obituary of Francis R. Korns that I am aware of doesn't list a spouse or children, and indicates he was born in 1873.
The following excerpt from the same from the 1912 Des Moines City directory identifies the principals of J. Bissig & Co. as Jeanette and Sebastian Bissig. Sebastian Bissig and his wife Jeanette are buried in the Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, Iowa. According to their grave markers, Sebastian was born in 1864 and Jeanette was born in 1865. Based on Jeanette's birth date, she cannot be a daughter of Francis R. Korns. The earliest reference to J. Bissig & Co. and the Korns Vienna Bakery that I have seen is in the 1903 Des Moines directory.
