The image above is a drawing of a long-handled cooking fork that is attributed to Jacob Korn, who is said to have set up the first blacksmithing shop in Holmes County, Ohio. This fork is the type used for cooking over a fire. For photographs of the fork, see the book "Holmes County Historical Sketches".
Jacob Korn was the brother of Michael Korn, Sr. of Southampton Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
