This page has two versions of an anonymous document called "The Bowman Clan" that I copied from the Bauman file at the Historical & Genealogical Society of Somerset County back in the mid-1990s. I copied them because I suspect I am descended from a daughter of John and Elizabeth (Marteeny) Bowman named Lavina Bowman who married Aaron Geiger. Neither of the documents below list Lavina, but they do list John Bowman and his father Jacob Bowman.
The first document below is a retyped transcript of an older typed document. The second document below is the older typed document, which is difficult to read and appears to be a carbon copy or possibly a mimeographed copy.
