As the founder and longtime curator of korns.org, I have spent decades preserving and sharing the rich historical and genealogical legacy of Somerset and Bedford counties in Pennsylvania. This work has been a labor of love — driven by a deep commitment to accuracy, context, and community memory.
Recognizing that no one is around forever, I am thrilled to announce that my daughter, Emily Dietle, has agreed to become a co-administrator of korns.org. She brings not only technical skill and creative insight, but also a shared passion for historical preservation and storytelling. Her involvement ensures that the website's mission will continue with integrity and care.
This step is part of a thoughtful succession plan to secure the future of the website. Emily will eventually assume all responsibilities, including site management, content curation, and correspondence. In the meantime, as we move forward together, I will remain actively involved as long as health and vitality permit — hopefully for many years!
Thank you for your continued support of korns.org. With Emily's involvement, the website will remain a trusted resource for genealogy researchers and history enthusiasts for decades to come.
Warm regards,
Lannie Dietle
