Page 120 of the 1949 book "The Genealogy of Michael Korns, Sr. of Somerset County Pennsylvania" indicates that William Alexander Korns was the son of Dr. John Hamilton Korns and his wife Bessie, and states "William Alexander, b. Nov. 3, 1920. Graduated from Harvard in 1943. He is Editorial writer for the "Item," New Orleans, La., and lives in New Orleans. He served with the O. S. S. in China in World War II. He married Louise Schramm on Aug. 3, 1940. Their children: a. Alexander, b. Sept. 10, 1941. b. John, b. March 20, 1945."
Dockstader book
Page 2491 of the 1991 book "The Dockstader Family: Descendants of Georg Dachst[?]tter, Palatine Emigrant of 1709, who Settled in the Mohawk Valley of New York", by Doris Dockstader Rooney, indicates that William Alexander Korns:

The Korns genealogy site has recent notes showing a discrepancy in listing the children of William Alexander Korns. I hope I can clear this up for readers. Contact me for questions, etc. I wish I had to time to include the many accomplishments of my Korns siblings and my mother.
