The three social cards that are shown on this page were with the papers my uncle Ralph Dietle left to me when he died on November 30, 2023. Ralph had the old papers of his father Irvin H. Dietle, who lived with Ralph in old age. These social cards would have come from the papers of Irvin H. Dietle, but I don't know if they originally belonged to Irvin or his wife Alma Catherine (Miller) Dietle. Based on the inscriptions, "Affections offering" and "Ever yours", I wonder if these cards may have been printed for Valentine's day, but I'm not sure.
Margaret "Maggie" Dietle was a daughter of William "Will" and Christiana "Christie" (Nedrow) Dietle, and was born on February 16, 1886. Linda B. Christner is Calvin and Sarah (Dietle) Christner's daughter Linda Belle "Linnie" Christner, who was born in 1888 and married Eli W. Weimer on February 4, 1909. Frank Dietle was a son of William and Christiana (Nedro) Dietle, and was born on Sept. 14, 1887.
Based on glue marks that seem to match, I think the social cards of Maggie Dietle and Linda B. Christner originally looked like this:
