Daniel Korns, GAR Aide-de-Camp

The pages below show the appointment of Daniel Korns of New Philadelphia, Ohio as an Aide-de-Camp of the Grand Army of the Republic, June 1, 1889. Note that Rutherford B. Hayes was also appointed as an Aide-de-Camp from Ohio under the same order. This was after his 1877 to 1881 term as President of the United States.
