The following image shows the listing for Michael Korn in the cursive 1786 tax list of Maxatawny Township in Berks County, Pennsylvania. I'm no expert on the content of such tax lists, but to my amateur eyes it appears that his tax valuation was based on his occupation, his being the owner of two cows, and his ownership of a certain amount of land.
