I started this Korns.org website back in 1998 to document some family genealogy and a few examples of vernacular architecture that interested me. Since then, the website has grown into a content-rich historical archive focused on the heritage of Somerset County, Pennsylvania and the surrounding region — or at least some of the bits that interest me — including a detailed study of the region's old-time gunsmiths and their products and methods.
I created this page in case any visitors are interested in how much traffic this website receives.
