Sloan's Ford crosses the Youghiogheny River near Confluence, Pennsylvania. The following 6:45 video describes how I searched for the fording site from Texas, and then flew up and photographed it in 2013. Many of the images are low resolution, so the video won't look great in full-screen mode.
