This old wood chisel was found in a bucket of old Lepley gunsmithing hardware at the Alonzo Lepley estate auction in Southampton Township, Somerset County, PA in the 1970's. The handle appears to be hand-made. The bottom side of the handle is rounded slightly, to fit the fingers better. Older photos of the chisel are included below.
