The following portion of the 1928 book "The Iowa Journal of History and Politics" incorporates a family tradition about how the individual who is now commonly referred to as "Adam Lepley I" came to migrate to Ohio. It also indicates that the father of Adam and Jacob Lepley was named Adam.
