This is a photo survey of a combination gun that was designed, patented, and manufactured by Bedford County, Pennsylvania resident Samuel Sheridan Leach. It is a side-by-side shotgun with a rifled barrel mounted on top, and a selector lever that provides for quickly selecting the rifled barrel for firing. For more information on Samuel Sheridan Leach, see the article "Samuel 'Sheridan' Leach and His Inventions 1864-1944" in the Fall 2021 issue of "The Pioneer", a publication of the Bedford county, Pennsylvania Historical Society.
The first photo below provides an overview of the right-hand side of the gun. The remaining photos provide a detailed photo survey of the gun.
