The following July 7, 1825 deed, which was recorded on July 8, 1825 in Allegany County land record book M beginning on page 702, is difficult to read and understand, but seems to be a belated indenture relating to George Rizer of Washington County having been the highest bidder in the 1807 tax sale of a 100-acre portion of the Norwood farm tract.
