The following three photos of the old timber frame house on the Blubaugh Place were provided by Richard Sturtz in 2025. Judging from the amount of remaining siding, these photos were taken some time prior to 1998.

The first photo shows the southern side of the house, which once had a full-length porch. The photo also shows the stone springhouse.

the next photo shows the east end of the house.

The next photo shows the milled wooden decorative trim under the eaves. I believe this trim was added when some of the wooden siding was replaced, after the proliferation of steam engines made milling more practical. Click here to see a closeup view of a piece of the trim that someone saved.
