The following images are photographs of picture photocopies of the Lepley farm in the copy of Marguerite (Lepley) Cockley"s 1981 notebook "Lepley Family in America" that is at the Meyersdale public library.
The first photo below shows the lower (north) end of the old Lepley stone house, and the north side of the wooden wing that was added to the stone house. The brick house in the background was built on the farm by or for Howard Burkett.
The next photo is a view of the stone house from the road. The little building on the right was a gun shop.
The next photo shows the upper (south) end of the stone house. I don't remember ever seeing the huse from this angle.
The next photo shows the rear (west) side of the stone house.I don't remember ever seeing the huse from this angle.
The building on the left looks like a corn crib. The old gun shop is on the right, and the barn is in the middle. As a kid, I played in the barn and helped to convert the gun shop into a corn crib.
