The following picture shows Marg (Hahn) Dietle standing on the porch of Irvin and Alma (Miller) Dietle's Larimer Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania farmhouse. I estimate that the picture was taken circa 1965. The view was taken looking generally west, and the roof in the background belongs to the stone springhouse. The door just beyond the porch swing enters into the kitchen, and was the primary entry into the house. The photographer (Marg's husband Ralph Dietle) would have been standing roughly in front of a door that entered into the living room, but I never saw anyone use that door.
