Here, below, is an altered film-based photo that shows all the children of Irvin H. Dietle, and most of the spouses of the children. Luther Dietle was dead when the original color photo was taken, and an older image of Luther and his wife Lerene haw been added to the right-hand side of the photo. That is why Luther and Lerene look younger than the rest of the individuals, and is probably why the altered photo is black and white. Left to right, the individuals are Roy E. Dietle, Estalene (Korns) Dietle, Julia (Dietle) Saylor, Margaret (Hahn) Dietle, Ralph Dietle, Patricia (Smith) Dietle, Irvin Dietle, Jr., Luther Dietle, and Lerene (Geiger) Dietle. This photo manipulation is decent work for the pre-digital era, even though the shadows are on the wrong side of the faces of Luther and Lerene. I wonder who did the photo manipulation. Luther was 51 years old when he died on November 12, 1976.
Here, below, is the original unaltered color photo, which does not include Luther and Lerene Dietle. The photo was taken in the living room of Roy and Estalene Dietle.
