This photo shows the "Little House" and stone smoke house on the John Wilson Korns farm in Southampton Township, Somerset County, PA. The individuals in the photo are Wilson's wife Mary E. (Geiger) Korns, and their grandson Melvin. The occasion is Melvin helping his grandmother on wash day; notice the basket Melvin is touching. I cannot explain why the little house looks so different here, compared to this photo.
