The pages copied below about the Braddock Road and the later National Road are from the 1906 book "History of Bedford and Somerset Counties Pennsylvania", which was published by the Lewis Publishing Company. These roads were traveled by westward-bound travelers, and as such may have represented a market for the farm products of Michael Korn.
