Outbuilding on Allen Korns' farm
This outbuilding was located just below the farmhouse on Allen Lester Korns' Southampton Township, Somerset County PA farm. The building was last used for raising hogs. It was destroyed by fire in roughly the early 1960's. Note the star decoration and white corner trim. The Lepley farms appear in the distance above the horse and the people.
I believe the individuals in the photo were house guests, if I remember correctly what my mother told me about the photo several years ago. The horse drawn implement appears to possibly be a mower.
