The first photo shows a window in the now-uninhabited house that belonged to Daniel Korns, Jr., then to John Wilson Korns, then to Allen Korns. This window is on the south side of the upstairs central bedroom. The dark object outside the window is lower side of the fallen roof of the double decker porch. The clear plastic on the window is a common way to add wintertime insulation on older northern houses.
The second photo shows a detail of the plaster lath that shows circular saw marks. The use of a circular saw to cut the lath dates the lath to post circa 1825-1835. The use of a two-coat plaster technique is clearly evident.
